Welcome to the Connecticut apraxia parent support group website! Established to bring families together with children with apraxia to help provide support, educate, and to raise awareness about apraxia.
We are a group of parents from all over Connecticut with children who have been diagnosed with apraxia. We meet the third Sunday of every month at 4pm. Because our group has members from all over Connecticut, we offer our meetings in two separate locations. The location changes every other month to accommodate everyone. We get together informally for a casual dinner. This is a place where parents can talk with other families going through similar experiences. We offer support, share stories & resources, vent and have fun. The group is open to anyone caring for a child with apraxia of speech.
